A new opportunity with Keane Premier Healthcare for an experienced Care Home Manager has arisen.
As the Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the care home’s operations, ensuring the highest quality of care and a safe, comfortable environment for our residents.
Your leadership and management skills will play a vital role in the wellbeing of our residents and the success of our care home. Your passion for the job will enable you to provide person-centred care that is second to none and help motivate and develop your team.
We are ideally looking for someone with previous Home Manager experience, managing a service of a similar size. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to lead Ryan Meadows Care Home, working with a company that is growing and moving towards implementation of new technologies to support the people living in our services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Care Home Manager or in a similar senior management role.
  • Registered Nurse with active NMC nursing pin.
  • SVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Ability to make critical decisions and problem-solve effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing the best care for residents.
  • Strong knowledge of care home regulations, compliance, and best practice, including care inspectorate standards.
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and management for the care home.
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of resident care.
  • Manage a staff team to provide high standards of care Support.
  • Develop and implement care plans.
  • Implement policies in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of care employees, ensuring their professional development and wellbeing.
  • Ensure effective staff scheduling and proper staffing levels.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports relating to resident care and facility operations.
  • Manage the care home’s budget and financial resources.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Address and resolve resident and family concerns in a compassionate and effective manner.
  • Conduct employee appraisals and supervisions.
  • Keep updated on industry best practices and regulations to continually improve the care home.
