Charles O’Neill is a specialised 80-bed Residential Aged Care home located in Mayfield West, Newcastle, supporting some of the community’s most vulnerable people. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager who has a genuine interest in aged care, mental health, and giving back to the community. Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and day-to-day support to our clinical and personal care teams, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Delivering consistently high-quality clinical care aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Catholic Healthcare policies Leading, coaching, and developing clinical and care teams to achieve positive resident outcomes Maintaining safe clinical practice and compliance, including infection prevention and control Supporting a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance resident wellbeing Catholic Healthcare is a supportive organisation that values strong leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will have: Bachelor of Nursing qualification Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Min 4 years stable Care Manager or equivalent experience In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Quality Standards, and AN-ACC processes Proven clinical leadership in aged care or mental health Willingness to obtain a Police and NDISWC Why join us?
