Are you a passionate health professional eager to make a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking an enthusiastic Care Manager to join our team at Riverview Gardens Aged Care Centre, located in Riverview, 4303.
Riverview Aged is a 167 bed Aged Care Centre offering caring and supportive lifestyle in a spacious home with landscaped gardens. Located in an 8-hectare property, we are surrounded by natural greenery. Along with the Brisbane River as a backdrop and fresh country air, our Centre offers a serene and relaxed environment that also has easy access to public transport links to Brisbane CBD, Ipswich, Rosewood and local services.

Responsibilities

As a Care Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with the Centre Manager, ensuring clinical governance and overseeing the multidisciplinary care team. This role is ideal for someone who values clinical excellence and is dedicated to creating a compassionate, homely environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the clinical care of our residents, ensuring high-quality health outcomes.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring appropriate skills and knowledge are considered.
  • Use critical thinking within an evidence-based framework to deliver optimal care.
  • Foster a person-centered culture, respecting and valuing all individuals.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support professional development of nursing and care staff.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with the Centre Manager.
  • Step in as acting Centre Manager when required.
  • Share on-call responsibilities.
