Doctors Direct have an exciting opportunity for a Care Of The Elderly Consultant to work with us at Princess Alexandra NHS Trust. Our client is looking for dedicated doctors ready to work in a world-renowned centre of clinical excellence.

SKILLS:

• Board certification or eligibility in Care Of The Elderly.
• Strong Clinical Skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 months NHS experience
• Valid GMC registration
• Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
• Currently UK Based
• NHS References to cover a recent three-year period

• Provide high-quality medical care to elderly and frail patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses that are common in older people such as, dementia, falls and Osteoporosis.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely.
• Carry out Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments to assess and treat diseases.
• Improving patients’ physical and mental health, independence and quality of life.
