About the Department: The environment on our unit is supportive and friendly and provides high-quality care for patients in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. We care for women of all ages, as well as newborns, from the healthiest to those requiring complex health care needs. Our population consists of mother-baby dyads, stable antepartum, and occasionally patients with benign gynecological diagnoses or surgeries. Our patients are unique because they are experiencing life-changing events and we get to be involved and support them along the way. Your Schedule: Full-Time Night Shift - 6:45 pm - 7:15 am (three 12-hour shifts/week) Shifts rotate throughout the week Note: Set schedules are not available. Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs. All Employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment. What You Need to Qualify: Required: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) AND one of the following: Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), or Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required), or Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.
