Job Description Home Instead West Leicestershire & Market Bosworth is expanding and we are looking for caring, compassionate Care Assistants to help with elderly care and support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout the local area. We are recruiting for experienced Domiciliary Care Professionals to support individuals with Learning Disabilities in their own homes and within the community. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and confident delivering person-centred, one-to-one care while promoting independence and dignity. The Role Providing 1:1 support in clients’ own homes Assisting with daily living tasks (personal care where required, meal preparation, routines) Supporting emotional well-being and positive behaviours Encouraging independence, life skills, and community access Following care plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support strategies Accurate record keeping and clear communication with the care team Essential Requirements Previous experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities Understanding of person-centred care and dignity in domiciliary settings Calm, patient, and empathetic approach Ability to work independently in the community Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Qualifications At Home Instead West Leicestershire & Market Bosworth, we can offer the following benefits for our Care Assistants: · £13.65 - £14.65 per hour · Local & Professional Support Team available, 24/7 on call support · Access to Blue Light Discount Card · Refer A Friend Scheme · Award Winning, Comprehensive Induction & Ongoing Professional Development Training · Fantastic Recognition and acknowledgement during birthdays, appraisals, and special occasions · Access to special events · Regular care professional team meetings, training updates and support visits.
