Job Description ​​​​​​ Home Instead East Nottingham is currently recruiting Part-Time Care Professionals, with the main demand in the Ruddington area. While most calls will be local to Ruddington, travel to other areas may be required. You will provide high-quality care and companionship to clients in their own homes, including: Offering companionship and engaging in conversation Stimulating and encouraging clients through activities such as hobbies, crafts, and clothing selection Monitoring diet and eating (where required) Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, continence care, and eating and drinking Providing medication reminders and administering medication Supporting mobility, including assistance with walking Accompanying clients to appointments, social events, and outings Providing dementia and Alzheimer’s care Offering respite and convalescence care Running errands, collecting prescriptions, and helping with shopping Helping with travel arrangements and overseeing deliveries Performing light housekeeping tasks Planning, preparing, and clearing away meals Assisting with pet care and supervising home maintenance Qualifications Qualifications & Skills We are looking for caring, dependable individuals who can demonstrate: A kind, compassionate approach and commitment to dignity and respect Excellent communication and listening skills Respect for people from different backgrounds, beliefs, and medical conditions Flexibility and ability to adapt to different environments and changing situations A professional approach when working with the Home Instead office team and other health and social care professionals Reliability, organisation, and excellent timekeeping Good hygiene practices, smart appearance, and physical stamina Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
