About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced social care manager to lead 7-bed short breaks services, supporting adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and/or Autism.  We are a care provider, regulated by the Care Quality Commission and responsible for the effective delivery of high-quality personal care and support. We are seeking someone who can provide strong, visible leadership and can take forward the ongoing development and delivery of our services. You must be passionate about supporting people, and confident in leading and motivating large teams. You will need to be highly motivated, self‑disciplined, and able to work proactively using your own initiative. You will play a key role in maintaining service standards and compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.  You will also participate on the Council’s out of hours on-call rota. The successful candidate will be required to complete the Care Quality Commission (CQC) ‘Fit Person’ interview, demonstrating their ability to lead and manage a safe, effective and well-led service. An enhanced DBS with adults barred list check is required for this post.
