Gemini are a small family feel Supported Living care company, searching for a Care Supervisor. This Role is to support the Registered Manager and Director with admin based work to include but not limited to, staff supervisions, Care plans, Medication audits and Competencies, along with accompanying paperwork required to run a compliant care company. The role will also is delivering care for our service users if needed, mirroring the current activities of the Registered Manager and Company Director.
The role requires the Care Supervisor to be part of the On call rota with the other members of management, to support in OOH questions and queries and the covering of shifts in the rare instance we were unable to cover with existing staff members. The role is split between office based administrative works, carrying out visits to the 3 very high standard properties in which the care is provided, and assisting with the provision of care/day centre drop off and collection etc
As with most care related working, the role is generally not 9-5 Monday to Friday, but this does not mean the Supervisor is expected to be available at all times, unless on call.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within Care is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff members, and our service users and their families
- Level 3 and above in Health and Social Care with support into Level 5 in H&S care
- Must hold a valid and current driving license - to be able to respond to emergencies in response to On call , flexibility to support the Management in Emergencies
