Description

Rula Homecare Limited are looking for a Team Leader to support the Registered Manager, supporting children and young people within their home and in the community.
The Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager to ensure a high-quality care service is provided, that meets the needs of service users.
This role will be part time office based and part time care / support based.
Duties for the Team Leader role will include but not limited to;
· Rota co-ordination of the care staff
· Keeping up to date spot checks, supervisions and medication audits.
· Communicating with care workers, service users and family members
· Completing assessments with new service users
· Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those set by Care Quality Commission (CQC)
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care, staff training and other operational activities
· Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals and other stake holders.
· Shared on call with the Registered Manager
Duties for the care role will include.
· Assisting service users with all personal care needs including, undressing, washing, bathing and toileting needs
· Assisting service users within the community on either a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
· To read and write reports and take part in staff and service users’ meetings and in training activities as directed.
· To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
The right candidate will have
· A minimum of 2 year’s experience within a similar senior role & a minimum 12 months experience supporting children.
· A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle with business insurance
· Ability to create, update and review care plans and experience with Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel
· Excellent communication skills
· Able to work in a flexible manner and adapt to rapidly changing situations and environments
· Able to work in a team as well as independently
· Knowledge of Care Quality Commissions standards

Pay: £12.82-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 45 per week
