JOB OVERVIEW

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for patient mobility assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and cooking.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans.
  • Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and autism through direct support.
  • Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
  • Conduct vital sign checks and report any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate personnel.
  • Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
