Happy at Home Caregiving Services Ltd. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. We provide quality Home Health Care to the Langley, Surrey, (North and South) Delta and Richmond, BC community. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional care and support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Health Care Assistant Certificate or Nursing Background
  • Cleared Criminal Record Check
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Violence and Harassment Course
  • Proof that you are fully vaccinated against Covid 19
  • Previous Experience working with seniors

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
  • Assist with mobility and physical activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the living environment to ensure a safe and hygienic space for clients.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support clients with dementia care by employing specialized techniques to enhance communication and understanding.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other caregivers to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
