Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves supporting residents with various care needs, including dementia care and medical assistance. Duties: - Provide high-quality patient care and support in a care home environment - Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and eating - Administer medication following proper procedures and guidelines - Implement behaviour management strategies to support residents with challenging behaviours - Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information - Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary Skills: - Proficient in dementia care practices and techniques - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Ability to drive to attend to residents’ needs or medical appointments - Strong patient care skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach - Competent in medication administration following prescribed protocols - Skilled in behaviour management techniques for individuals with complex needs Join our team of dedicated Care Workers and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
