We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, and senior care practices is beneficial.
• A background in nursing or caregiving is an advantage.
• First aid certification is preferred to ensure client safety during emergencies.
• Experience in childcare may also be considered valuable when working with families needing support. • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
