Approved Care and Support are a private home care provider based in Oswestry. We are built on many years’ experience and are passionate about providing a quality service. We are now recruiting in Shrewsbury, to cover the SY1, SY2 , SY3 and SY4 areas.
Our amazing team of care workers make a difference to the lives of others on a daily basis, bringing a smile to the faces of our customers. They support people to remain in their own homes, helping them to stay as independent as possible.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience as a care worker or similar role is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.

• A positive welcoming attitude and good communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of care.
• Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, there are full-time and part time, evening and weekend positions available.
• A genuine caring nature, empathy and a positive attitude is required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CARE WORKER

• Dressing and undressing
• Washing/bathing/showering/ shaving/cleaning teeth
• Toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene
• Administration of Medication
• Getting in and out of bed
• Food preparation
• General cleaning duties
• Shopping
  We are looking for people who live in and around the Shrewsbury area, with either formal or informal experience.
