Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING:
As a Carer, you’ll be playing an important role assisting residents with their daily activities such as showering & getting dressed. We want them feel safe, and at home in our facilities.
We’re a tight knit team at each of our facilities, and this goes a long way to ensure that we can manage our busy schedules, whilst sharing some laughs and banter.
Located a short drive away from Cable Beach, Germanus Kent House is a state of the art facility that provides continuous support to 55 residents.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Maintain continuity of care by reading and following care plans.
- Complete domestic duties as required.
- Communicate resident care needs to the supervisors on a daily basis.
- Contribute in creating a safe and friendly environment for all our residents.
- Show compassion & exercise patience.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Care or similar
- Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask
- Great communication skills (spoken & written)
- Attention to detail for good record keeping
