Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING:

Our Residential Facility in Success are seeking experienced Care Workers to work on a casual basis.
Caring for the local community since 2002, Frank Prendergast House is centrally located in Success in Perth’s southern suburbs.
As a Care Worker, you’ll be playing an important role in assisting residents with activities of daily living, including social and communal needs. You will ensure quality outcomes for all of our residents under supervision of your supervisor.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Maintain continuity of care by reading and following care plans.
  • Complete domestic duties as required.
  • Communicate resident care needs to the supervisors on a daily basis.
  • Contribute in creating a safe and friendly environment for all our residents.
  • Show compassion & exercise patience.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED:-

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Care or equivalent.
  • Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask.
  • Great communication skills (spoken & written).
  • Attention to detail for good record keeping.
  • Morning and afternoon availability is desirable.
