Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING:

Surrounded by natural bushland at the foot of the Kalamunda Hills, Jeremiah Donovan House provides 24/7 clinical and personal care in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
As a Care Worker, you’ll be playing an important role in assisting residents with activities of daily living, including social and communal needs. You will ensure quality outcomes for all of our residents under supervision of your supervisor.
We currently have vacancies for permanent part time as well as casual.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Maintain continuity of care by reading and following care plans.
  • Complete domestic duties as required.
  • Communicate resident care needs to the supervisors on a daily basis.
  • Contribute in creating a safe and friendly environment for all our residents.Show compassion & exercise patience.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED:-

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent.
  • Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask.
  • Great communication skills (spoken & written).
  • Attention to detail for good record keeping.
  • Morning and afternoon availability is desirable.
