Click the link to see how you can support residents to live their day their way - A Day in the Life, with Uniting Aged Care Position Overview: As a Care Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents living in our aged care facility. Your support enables residents to retain independence and maximise their quality of life in a safe and nurturing environment. Permanent Part-Time opportunities are available across morning, afternoon and night shifts, with casual arrangements also considered. A minimum availability of two days per week is required. Key Responsibilities: You’ll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities. Qualifications & Experience: Must hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent qualification. Medication competency (Desirable not mandatory) Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care. (Highly Desirable, not mandatory) Nursing students welcome to apply; flexible availability can be discussed.
