Last year, Franklin Cummings Tech educated more than 1,000 learners across three student types: 1) certificate and degree seekers, 2) continuing education clients, and 3) high schoolers pursuing early college. Position Summary: Franklin Cummings Tech is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Career and Co-Op Outreach Navigator to support the Career and Co-Op Services team in maintaining strong relationships with alumni and helping connect them to employment opportunities. This part-time position plays a key role in gathering data, sharing job leads, and building connections between alumni and hiring partners. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Conduct outreach via phone, email, and text to alumni to gather employment outcomes and maintain up-to-date contact records. Research alumni using platforms like LinkedIn to identify current roles, companies, and potential hiring opportunities. Identify alumni who are now in hiring positions and flag them as potential employer partners. Source contact information and job titles of historical alumni who may be disconnected from the school. Monitor job postings from known employer partners and companies aligned with Franklin Cummings Tech programs. Create and distribute a bi-weekly alumni job lead newsletter, curating relevant openings by program area. Maintain accurate notes and records of outreach activity in a shared tracking system. Support employer engagement and alumni tracking efforts in collaboration with the Career Services team. Work with Business Development Consultant to research employers with job opportunities for alumni from the HVAC&R and Practical Electricity Programs at Franklin Cummings Tech. Preferred Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with phone and digital outreach. Experience with LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized. Familiarity with technical education pathways and employer engagement is a plus. Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or CRM platforms preferred.
