JOB SUMMARY

This position, housed within the Center for Career Development (CCD), works collaboratively with various campus departments and external partners to create a seamless transition for first-generation students from their first year through their second. The CCFC will empower students by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to excel academically, socially, and professionally.
The CCFC will foster a collegial and supportive community, building meaningful relationships between students, peer educators, and professional mentors. A primary responsibility will be to design and implement initiatives that promote the academic, social, and career success of first-generation students, ensuring their readiness for a competitive workforce. The CCFC will also work closely with partners in the Division of Enrollment Management & Student Success to coordinate a shared mentoring component and create additional support structures for these students.
