POSITION TITLE: Career Coach       LOCATION: Corbin, KY        STATUS: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt       PROGRAM: Workforce Reintegration Program        REPORTS TO: Senior Workforce Development Specialist        INTRODUCTION: Volunteers of America Mid-States (VOA) is a nonprofit organization serving four states, dedicated to creating positive change through a ministry of service. We support families, veterans, and seniors with housing, provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities, promote restorative justice, and offer free HIV testing and education. This role is all about encouraging independence, building confidence, and helping individuals feel good about their place in the workforce and community. You’ll work closely with job seekers, employers, and community partners to create meaningful opportunities and long-term success.   WHAT YOU’LL NEED * Great communication and people skills * The ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks * A friendly, positive approach to building relationships * Basic computer and documentation skills * A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current insurance * Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification * Experience in coaching, workforce development, or human services is a plus   Why This Role Matters In this role, you truly make a difference.
