KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage with Business to gather, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding and alignment with project goals. Act as a key liaison between the client and internal teams.
Gap Analysis: Analyse business requirements to identify gaps and inconsistencies, for allocated function/module. Identifying the gaps between current operations and desired goals and recommending solutions to close these gaps.
Should possess deep subject matter expertise in one business line (RB,CB,TF,Tre,WM,Com,IB,Card& Payments)
Possessing a comprehensive understanding of banking processes, business requirements, and application flows and consistently delivering assigned tasks on time with minimal supervision or support from superiors, by applying your domain knowledge /expertise
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, country/region specific regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure solutions are innovative and aligned with market needs
Actively participate in creating training assets, functional repositories, case studies, and domain-specific assets
Scope Definition: Work with team / Independently to provide Scope definition and estimation for requirements/CR’s.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, throughout the project lifecycle.
Conflict Management: Avoid conflicts and exhibit strong collaboration by actively participate in team discussion throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to a positive team environment and support shared project goals.
Provide training on product or domain knowledge to team members and support business users during testing & training phases.
Defect Management: Provide inputs on risk based testing for early defect detection
Techniques for Elicitation: Conducting interviews, workshops, focus groups, surveys, and brainstorming sessions to gather detailed business and technical requirements
Training: Developing training materials, manuals, or guides, and conducting training sessions to ensure end users are comfortable with the new systems or processes
Documenting Requirements: Creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Use Cases that outline business objectives.
Analyse data and provide actionable insights and highlight critical key issues /bottlenecks impacting the function in a holistic manner, raise as risk and escalate as per process
Establishing Impact Analysis based regression pack selection
Understanding of the Banking Processes, business requirements and application flows
Should be able to deliver assigned task on time with minimal supervision /support from superiors
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by giving insights for developing domain-specific tools and techniques to enhance quality and efficiency
Ensuring there are no delivery slippages for the assigned module/function
Drive Triage/solution calls to provide insights in establishing Defect Root Cause
Engage and actively participate in Domain Community Forums, to enhance the skillset and exposure
Continuously expand knowledge in relevant banking domains, products, and technologies
Should be able to guide / train junior members Product / Application / Domain
Upskill in a new sub-domain/ domain through trainings, certifications
Attend necessary trainings and hands-on sessions to upgrade skills in domain / product
