The Opportunity
The Career Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Career Services team with various day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations within the department. This position involves performing administrative duties, assisting with event planning, and supporting recruitment initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for student development.
Key Responsibilities
RECRUITMENT
Assist the Student Career Advisor with EPP (Employment Preparation Program) and CPP (Community Connections Program) tasks. Including:

- Review of job descriptions and posting of job positions;
- Shortlist resumes;
- Facilitate interview scheduling;
- Co-host interview as a panel member for the Community Connections program;
- Update students on their application status and send rejection letters when applicable;
- Facilitate scheduling of 1:1 check-in between the Student Career Advisor, Students, and Host Partners/Departments;
- Maintain and update program metrics and databases (spreadsheets) regularly.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATION
- Review of job descriptions and posting of volunteer opportunities within the College.
