Overview Works with individuals of all backgrounds and barriers to assist them with job training and career needs through an approved written plan. Negotiates with employers and training sites to provide suitable opportunities to participants, provides adequate supportive service, referral, and follow-up services throughout participation; resolves problems arising between participants and employers/ training sites; counsels participants, and performs related work as required. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT No additional experience. COMPUTER SKILLS An individual should know Database, Internet, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care. Computer literate. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
