Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of HR, Talent Acquisition, or program coordination experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and HRIS/ATS systems proficiency (iCIMS, ServiceNow preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Career Start is Suffolk’s two-year rotational program for recent college graduates who are passionate about the opportunity to grow their career in construction management. This role is part of the team responsible for the development and execution of the Program, working with Talent Acquisition and Field Leadership. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting & coordinating the Career Start Program, including onboarding, performance management, rotational assignments, and engagement with the 75-80 Career Start employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate campus recruiting efforts, including career fairs, information sessions, and first-round interviews.
  • Manage candidate pipeline through iCIMS, including posting jobs, screening applicants, and recommending candidates to leadership.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters; manage candidate communication through hiring and onboarding.
  • Partner with PCOps to initiate background checks, drug testing, and onboarding workflows.
  • Coordinate week-long Boston orientation, including agenda design, travel logistics, meals, and accommodations.
  • Manage daily logistics for interns and Career Start rotational employees, including manager assignments and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain trackers and systems to monitor placements, rotations, and performance cycles.
  • Serve as point of contact for interns and Career Start hires throughout program duration, providing guidance and support.
  • Assist in structuring summer programming, including weekly learning sessions, SME meetings, and capstone projects.
  • Draft and distribute program newsletters in collaboration with leadership.
  • Collect feedback through exit interviews and focus groups to inform program improvements.
  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, PCOps, and business leaders to align placements, ensure program consistency, and support participant success.
  • Coordinate with the VP of HRIS and P&C leadership on performance review design, rollout, and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with program managers, mentors, and regional leadership.
