The newly established Careers and Employability team plays a critical role in preparing our diverse student community—especially mature and widening participation learners—for successful graduate outcomes.

We are seeking two dedicated Careers and Employability Consultants in two key areas:

• Creative Industries (design, gaming, fashion)
• Business and Social Sciences

These roles will be pivotal in embedding employability within our programmes and delivering high-quality careers support tailored to students’ specific industry pathways.

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

• Occasional need for evening or weekend work to support events or workshops
• Travel between local campuses or external partners as required

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Careers and Employability Consultants will provide specialist advice and guidance, ensuring that students and graduates acquire essential employability skills, secure meaningful work experiences, and successfully transition into graduate-level employment. You will collaborate closely with academic staff, employers, and external partners to deliver tailored employability programmes and initiatives, enhancing graduate outcomes in your dedicated subject area.
