Make a real difference by supporting individuals with disabilities Position: Caregiver - 2045R Starting Wage: $24.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:45pm-8pm Location: Portland, OR 🌻 Client Bio: I enjoy spending time doing activities like arts and crafts, painting, playing basketball, and using play dough. I love staying active and spending time with my family, especially my mom. I do best with caregivers who stay engaged with me, participate in activities alongside me, and limit distractions such as phone use during our time together. I am looking for a consistent, long-term caregiver who has experience supporting individuals with high behaviors and can provide structure, patience, and calm redirection. Transitions can be challenging and may lead to escalation, including physical aggression (hitting, kicking, or throwing items). I also need support with social boundaries, situational awareness, and impulsive behaviors, along with close supervision due to elopement risk. Clear expectations, proactive redirection, and consistency help me feel safe and regulated.
