What You’ll Do: Care – aid with activities of daily living according to resident’s individualized Care Plan. Build – help form community among our resident population. Engage – assist with resident participation in activities/other community programming while respecting individual preferences and abilities. Collaboration – work with the Director of Nursing / Assistant Director of Nursing to bring life to the community. Requirements What you bring: Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors. Obtain (or willingness to obtain) Direct Care Staff Certificate. Previous experience in a memory care or senior living setting preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet. Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
Responsibilities
The caregiver will aid residents with activities of daily living and assist with their participation in community activities. They will collaborate with nursing staff to enhance the quality of life for residents.
