Qualifications Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure Food Handlers' certification First Aid certification Provides assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensures residents' care needs are met. Records care provided in the Matrix Electronic Medical Record System and follows medication administration procedures. Responds to medical emergencies, providing basic first aid and following protocol. Assists with meal service, monitors food intake, and helps residents during mealtimes. Transports residents with appropriate assistance and encourages participation in social activities. Reports changes in resident condition to the Assisted Living Director and maintain confidentiality. Assists with training new staff, supports resident care plans, and ensures proper safety and infection control measures are followed.
Responsibilities
The caregiver provides assistance with activities of daily living and ensures residents' care needs are met. They also respond to medical emergencies and assist with meal service and social activities.
