You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. RESPONSIBILITIES With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to: • Companionship and emotional support • Light cooking and cleaning • Bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance • Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders • Transportation for appointments and errands • Light housekeeping and laundry • Meal preparation and service • Shopping and errands QUALIFICATIONS • CNA or HHA license preferred OR 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons • Exceptional communication skills • Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance • Proof of current TB testing • Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position • Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable • Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state) • Provide verifiable professional and personal references WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive pay: $16-$19/hour based on experience and certifications • Flexible scheduling - choose your own hours, day or night • Same-day pay available • Paid training and certification assistance • Overtime pay for short notice shift coverage, holidays, and overtime • Recognition program to reward the heartbeat of our company - YOU! • Opportunity for promotional growth into leadership positions • We provide liability insurance and worker's compensation • Supportive team that genuinely cares about you We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and a veteran-owned business committed to serving our community with excellence.
