United Care is looking for a Caregiver to provide exceptional support to bed-bound clients. These individuals spend most or all of their day in bed due to medical conditions or physical limitations, often facing challenges such as limited mobility, pressure sores, and muscle weakness. Your role is essential in maintaining their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being through attentive personal care and consistent support. Caring for bed-bound clients requires more than completing daily tasks—it demands empathy, patience, and a nurturing presence. Many clients may feel isolated or frustrated, so your ability to offer emotional support, meaningful engagement, and clear communication is key. This role is deeply rewarding, and with the right commitment, you can make a significant difference in someone’s life every day. Key Responsibilities: Provide full personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, pericare, and dressing Assist with bed mobility, repositioning every 2 hours, and performing safe transfers as needed Monitor skin integrity to prevent pressure sores and report any concerns Support feeding, hydration, and medication reminders Maintain a clean and safe environment, including changing linens and managing incontinence care Follow the client’s care plan and communicate changes to the care team promptly Offer companionship and emotional support Ensure the client’s comfort, dignity, and safety at all times Key Traits: Compassionate and committed to supporting vulnerable individuals Patient and gentle, especially during personal care tasks Attentive to detail and responsive to client needs Reliable and trustworthy Good communication skills Physically capable of performing transfers and repositioning Calm under pressure and able to follow care plans accurately Must be 18 years or older Experience in memory care is preferred.
