Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the Care Professional include, but are not limited to the following: Provides conversation and companionship to clients Comfortable providing personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care Meal preparation and cooking Medication reminders Light housekeeping, including laundry, vacuuming and dishes Assists with transportation for medical appointments, shopping, errands, and outings Transfer assistance and fall prevention, as needed Maintains comfortable and safe living environment Participates in training and professional development opportunities to develop and enhance skills Qualifications Kind, caring and compassionate At least 2 years of experience providing in-home care to seniors or other home-bound persons Dependable and punctual Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and current auto insurance Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision Resident of Philadelphia metro area (Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia Counties in PA or New Castle County in DE) ABOUT QUALICARE HOME CARE At Qualicare, we’re on a mission to help seniors and recovering adults live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
