You'll need to possess or be able to obtain a Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance to ensure the safety of those you care for. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license will be critical for your role, as you may transport clients to various activities. A flexible schedule is necessary, primarily available after school, during evenings, and on weekends. Essential certifications, including CPR and First Aid, along with Article 9 and an Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate, are part of the training required. Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred, and the ability to promote self-esteem and advocate for our members will help you succeed in this compassionate role.
