Abound Health, a provider of home and community services for adults with intellectual disabilities is seeking dedicated Caregivers to provide services in Hackettstown, NJ, and surrounding areas. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need, promoting their well-being and independence.

SKILLS:

• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on empathy and patience
• Ability to administer medications accurately
• Competence in assisting with ADLs for individuals with varying needs

EXPERIENCE:

• Caregiving: 1-2 years (Preferred), not required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
• Ability to drive for individual transportation to and from home or on community outings

• Building trusting relationships with clients to facilitate effective care and support
• Providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks
• Administering medications following proper protocols
• Assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans
• Maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and progress
• Going out and about in the community to increase and improve socialization skills and increase community inclusion.
