Description
Main role of the employee will be to take care of our 9-year-old autistic son. He is minimally verbal and homeschooled. I am a stay-at-home Mom. I work with my son throughout the day but there are a few hours in the morning, in-between school and later in the evening where I will need help. That person will be driving my son for group physical activities in the evening. When I will be working with my son during the day that person will be running errands for us outside and doing house chores. It will be a flexible schedule. There will be days when they will be more hands on throughout the day with my son. They will not be expected to do any household chores on those days. But other days they may be cooking and cleaning for us during the hours we are working with our son. Preferably fluent in English and some experience working with special needs kids would be a bonus. Special diet requirements My son eats meat....but my husband and I are vegetarians. It would be great if the person knows how to good healthy veg and non veg meals. We are very health conscious people and nutrition is extremely important to us.
