Supreme Care Limited is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant / Care Giver to join our growing team. We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to individuals needing support with their daily living needs.
Position: Personal Care Assistant
Location: Christchurch, Canterbury
Employment Type: Permanent, minimum 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $28.25 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• Level 4 qualification (aged care, disability support, or home care).
• Previous experience will be an advantage.
• Understanding of privacy, dignity, and safe care practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Flexible with shift work, including weekends or public holidays as needed.

• Support clients with daily personal routines such as washing, getting dressed, and grooming.
• Help individuals move around safely, including using mobility aids when needed.
• Be a friendly and reassuring presence—offering companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with preparing simple meals and feeding if required.
• Keep living spaces tidy and help with basic household tasks.
• Keep an eye on clients’ wellbeing and share any concerns with the team.
• Always follow care plans and ensure tasks are done safely and respectfully.
