QUALIFICATIONS:

  • VT LNA license preferred but NOT REQUIRED
  • Dementia Care preferred.
  • A team player with a positive, fun attitude (our staff have one too!)

Responsibilities
  • Daily Care & Support
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Help residents with mobility, including walking, transferring, and repositioning per care plans.
  • Provide catheter care and assist with other healthcare needs as directed.
  • Health Monitoring & Documentation
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes in residents’ appearance, behavior, or health status.
  • Record all care provided and any incidents in electronic medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, care managers, and other team members to ensure residents receive the best care.
  • Resident Engagement & Well-Being
  • Assist with social and recreational activities, encouraging resident participation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
  • Household & Meal Assistance
  • Assist with meal services, including setting up tables, serving meals, and cleaning up the dining room.
  • Provide light housekeeping and laundry assistance to ensure a comfortable living space for residents.
  • Emergency & Safety Response
  • Be the first line of response to emergency call alarms.
  • Follow infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
