Job Description Demonstrate compassion and effective active listening skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to discuss to mother and family the Benefits of Breastfeeding for Mother and Baby. Assist mothers during newborn care, feeding techniques and self-care. Assess the condition of the mother and baby immediately after birth. Provide care for the mother and baby during the initial postpartum period. Monitor the mother and baby for any complications during the postpartum period. Provide education and support to the mother and her family during the postpartum period. Responsibilities
