JOB OVERVIEW

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or senior care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CPR and first aid is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
  • Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and caregiving best practices.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks as required by state regulations.
  • Certification in dementia care or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patient health by observing and reporting changes in condition.
  • Support clients with meal preparation and nutrition management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
  • Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Provide specialized care for clients with conditions such as dementia or other cognitive impairments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
