Cheer Home Care is looking for caring and compassionate individuals like you to join our family! We’re hiring for both day and night shifts in sunny San Diego! As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you'll provide vital non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. Your role will focus on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation, enriching the lives of our clients and helping them lead a comfortable and happy life at home. If you have experience in caregiving and a heart full of kindness, we would love to have you on our team! On a typical day, your responsibilities may include: Being a comforting companion and engaging in enjoyable activities with clients. Assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. Providing safe transportation for clients to their appointments and outings. Supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, and limited mobility. Helping with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Offering assistance and care that encourages independence and dignity. Cell phone with internet access. Experience in caregiving is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Must be comfortable working both day and night shifts. Certifications like CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, and AED are great but not mandatory.
