REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience required
  • Experience with slings and transfers are preferred
  • Must be fully vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated
  • Class 5 Driver’s License is required and must be comfortable driving the employer’s van
  • Willing to go on trips with the employer is required
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Personal care and all activities of daily living
  • Respiratory care (training provided)
  • Meal preparation and feeding
  • Light housekeeping
  • Transfers using a ceiling lift
  • Assisting the employer with errands
  • Support the employer in the community daily as he has a very active lifestyle
  • Few intervention at night (the employer sleeps approx. 6-8 hours without interruption)
