Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily activities including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, to ensure safe transfers between locations.
  • Support clients with dementia care by providing a calm environment and employing effective communication techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client status to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
