Description Parc Center for Disabilities is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers / Resident Aides to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This part-time morning role is ideal for individuals who enjoy meaningful work and want a consistent early-day schedule. Schedule: Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM At Parc, we are committed to helping individuals live with dignity, independence, and respect. Morning staff play a key role in helping residents start their day safely, comfortably, and confidently. Essential Responsibilities Provide direct care and supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals) Support individuals in following their active treatment plans Encourage positive engagement and independence during morning routines Complete required documentation accurately and on time Communicate effectively with team members during shift transitions Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment Requirements Provide direct care and supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals) Support individuals in following their active treatment plans Encourage positive engagement and independence during morning routines Complete required documentation accurately and on time Communicate effectively with team members during shift transitions Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and approved behavioral intervention certifications (training provided) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Other Requirements Parc Center for Disabilities is a drug-free workplace Must successfully pass a Level II background check This position requires screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
