Job Description We are on the look out for an experienced Caregiver to join our team at the Summerset by the Dunes Village in Papamoa, Tauranga! As our Caregiver, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents in our Memory Care space. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives. Typical duties include: Provide personal care to residents under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, including assistance with daily needs such as showering, meals, toileting, and other tasks as outlined in individual care plans. Foster respectful and supportive relationships with residents and their families to enhance mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Assist in delivering activity programs tailored to residents' needs. Contribute to creating a welcoming, enjoyable, and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Provide care assistance across the village, including first aid response and support for residents in Care Centre, Villas, Apartments, and Care Apartments as needed. Adhere to policies and procedures, maintain accurate records, promptly report concerns, and ensure professional and ethical conduct. Perform additional tasks as required, such as cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, escorting residents, or assisting with organized activities. Medication competent This is a Permanent Full Time role working 30 - 37.5 hours per week on a 4 days on, 2 days off roster. This will be either be a 7:00am - 3:00pm shift, or 3:00pm - 11:00pm shift. The pay range of this position is $28.42 - $30.70 per hour. Please click here to view the full job description. Qualifications We are looking for exceptional, experienced Caregivers to join our team!
