“Caregiver” at Home Instead is a vital role located in your community. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and companionship to older adults, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of life for our clients and their families.

Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous caregiving experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementia care is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between client locations

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Document client progress and communicate effectively with family members.
  • Participate in ongoing training to improve caregiving skills.
