Join the team at Mary Andrews Village in South Hurstville, a warm and welcoming residential aged care home where every day is an opportunity to bring comfort, connection, and joy to older Australians. We’re currently looking for compassionate Carers to join us in casual roles in a supportive environment that values your heart for service and commitment to dignity in care.
About the Role:
As a Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live independently and with dignity. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualifications recognised under Australian Qualifications Framework.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance ID or willingness to obtain.

About You:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification (essential).
• Experience in aged care or disability support is highly desirable.
• A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents’ dignity and independence.
• Alignment with Anglicare’s Christian ethos and values.

• Monitor and document residents’ progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
• Collaborate with the broader care team to provide holistic support to residents.
