SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Carer (desirable)
• Transferable skills in providing care and compassion to others
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable)
• OR willing to complete Certificate- Traineeships on offer to eligible candidates
• We encourage Nursing students to apply
• Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance

ABOUT THE ROLE

BaptistCare Niola Centre is seeking Carers to join their team on a casual or Permanent Part Time basis. As a carer you’ll get to know your residents and their needs and preferences during your shifts. Availability for night shifts highly desirable.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Assistance with a wide range of person centred care in accordance with care plans
• Assistance with medication
• Simple wound dressing
• Assistance with activities under supervision
• Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
