Description

ABOUT US

Bickham House is located in Bowden, Cheshire. Bickham House was originally the family home of the Bickham family. In 1948 Miss Helen Constance Bickham left the property in her will to trustees for use as a Home for Elderley People or distressed gentle folk. Upon her death, the Home was set up as a care home with charitable status managed by a board of trustees, all of whom are unpaid volunteers. Bickham House continues to operate as a non-profit making charity and residential care home, and all the monies generated are re-invested back into the Home for the benefit of our residents.
