JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly seniors, and those requiring specialised care such as dementia or hospice support. This role involves both personal care and companionship, ensuring that clients feel safe, comfortable, and valued in their own homes. MUST BE A DRIVER WITH A FULL UK DRIVERS LICENSE

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in home care or senior care is highly desirable.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Ability to drive and possess a valid driving licence is advantageous.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required.

  • Administer first aid as necessary and monitor clients’ health conditions.
  • Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatments.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Provide support for individuals with dementia or those in hospice care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
